Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have high School Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of working in a retail pharmacy environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- The candidates should be detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize work assignments
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to adapt to change
- The candidates should have the ability to work and maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods of time
- The candidates should maintain a positive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude
- The candidates should have exposure to Hospital or Long Term Care Pharmacy is beneficial
- The candidates should have Pharmacy Technician Diploma from an accredited college is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to fill a variety of prescriptions efficiently to maintain workflow
- The candidates should be able to prepare compounds, mixtures, and temperature control items
- The candidates should be able to package blister pack medications
- The candidates should be able to deliver completed product based on schedules
- The candidates should be able to ensure appropriate follow-up on minor issues.
- The candidates should be able to synchronize and collaborate with other departments
- The candidates should be able to ensure organization of work station and inventory shelves
- The candidates should be able to maintain appropriate supplies and materials
- The candidates should be able to have some involvement in prescription information management
- The candidates should be able to recognize liability on the outcomes of service provided
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
